Prejudice

I did not know this before but when asked my dad what prejudic meant, he had said that it meant prejudging. This means that you judge something before you are aware of facts of a case. However, we do not actually use this definition when we talk about prejudice. Today, prejudice inclines to in a racial mater. We see the definition as "unreasonable attitude showing resistant racially". I have seen prejudice in my trip to Thaialnd. I was in a rural area and when I approached a store selling water, the salesman suddenly grasped me and dragged me in the store bargaining with me with wide spread eyes. He did not do this to other Thais in the store, but I think he had great expectations dragging me into the store because I was Korean. I think Korean tourists have a strong reputation of being wealthy ceratintly because this salesman was raising the price as we bargained. The effects of Prejudice are never good. This makes the other person degrading and isolated racially. For example my experience with the water salesman made me isolated and a little agravating because I was treated unfairly. I had to pay more!!

hahahaha no comments?kkkkkk I agree that prejudice is a bad effect. It creates bad feelings.
Too bad that you had to pay more money to the Tai store kkkk but, I agree with your dad too, prejudging. I also think prejudice means judging others without a definate reason. We shouldnt prejudge others.

I agree with you there, Dong Hyun, but i think it could be positive too. For example, you are thinking and prejuding about an activity and you just didn't sign up for it and people say it is boring and not really great. You made a good choice, but it is also a prejudging which means it is prejudice. The word prejudice has bad connotations which means it has bad impression or it sounds bad. I really think people are too looking at the bad side of an prejudice only because they have been looking that way and textbook and other book sources kind of tells it that way, but prejudice could have a good effect too.

Nice job on your almost done blog post!!!

Great!!

WOw !!! Details and clear to understand.
In the world, there are many prejudices. But the prejudices are also brought division of people and many people are fighting because of the prejudice. I don't really agree with peter because if you prejudging like peter wrote. You might loose your chance to activity. As we know someone could say this is boring but it can helpful to me. Everyone have different thoughts and minds. I really agree with your opinion

I thought you would know what prejudice meant because you always like know all the words and stuff,,but i guess you didn't this time. I think the story of the salesman in Thailand seemed interesting, although it may have been quite shocked becasue of a sudden, unexpected act. Anyways, i think you wrote a lot of good things in your post
